Thanks for providing the absolutely perfect spot for vacation and healing. My husband and I found your place about ten years ago and finally returned this year. We were soothed by the sound of the surf, in awe of the changing skies, and delighted to stay on the north shore for a lazy exploration of that part of the island, getting as far as Auntie Angeline's for incredible lomilomi massages. This was our first visit to Hawaii and we were so fortunate to pick this island. We found great hiking, snorkling, beaches. What a perfect start to the day - looking out the picture window to see the glorious sunrise. We found everything perfect in J7. Thanks for sharing paradise with us. The minute I walked in the condo with Mark, the beauty was overwhelming. I could not have asked for a better alarm clock - the sun rising over the ocean and later being put to sleep by the sound of the surf breaking over the reef. Ono! Oh no! I have to leave, but I will be back soon!

The image of your window seat and the glorious view is what got me through a long winter in Alaska. But the reality of being here is awesome. The sunrises, the ocean, the beaches, the birds and the flowers. It is spectacular!

Some of our favorite memories: Swimming with the turtles past the reef at Ke'e Beach. Snorkling at SeaLodge Beach for the first time and being amazed at the unseen beauty that was swimming around my feet. Searching for dolphins and finding ourselves in the middle of a pod for 20 minutes. We also saw flying fish like aquatic hummingbirds. They flew past the boat with their irridescent blue/green bodies sparkling over the waves. Wonderful memories, great condo and fabulous sunrise. Mahalo! — Richard

Today Dave and I spent almost two hours on the SeaLodge beach along with a Monk Seal. What a treat it was for us! Once again we've had a perfect vacation here at J7 and on Kauai. This is truly paradise. Thanks for sharing it! — Dave and Lydia, Rhode Island

We have returned to Kauai every year for 29 years since spending our honeymoon at J-7 in September of 1977. The majority of those visits to J-7. No need to renew our wedding vows, we have this place to remind of our the happiest times of our lives. Even two hurricanes have not changed the magic here. My family and I just returned from a wonderful five day stay at SeaLodge unit J-7. While the complex is older, the grounds and unit we stayed in were clean and very well maintained. We dealt directly with the owner (Carol), and had a positive interaction at every step. The footprint of the unit is small, however, the layout is well configured and gave us all of the room we needed. We have children (boys 9 and 5), and there was enough to do - a TV, DVD player, cable, and wireless internet connection - to keep them occupied on the rare occasions when we were inside (at night and early morning). The unit also had three boogie boards for us to use, which was a nice touch. The view from the window of this second story unit was spectacular. The complex is located on a cliff about 100 feet above the largest reef in Hawaii, off of Anini Beach. The whales and dolphins were out in full force, and we could have spent all day looking out at the sealife in the waves. We have travelled extensively throughout the U.S. and the world, and Kauai is among our very favorite places. Before we left, everyone told us that we would absolutely love Kauai. Everyone was right. We will return to Kauai and to SeaLodge (and unit J-7, if it is available). — posted on TripAdvisor

Your description could not have prepared us for the loveliness of SeaLodge, or the beauty and seclusion of the adjacent beach and reef. We saw a lot of whales and a large group of sea turtles feeding just outside the reef below us. Thanks for a fantastic vacation. —Rick - San Francisco, CA

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in your condo. The window seat was a favorite spot not only for my husband and myself, but for our two teenaged sons as well. We loved your condo, It was beautiful, comfortable, practical and peaceful. The view was spectacular. I cherish the memory of falling to sleep each night listening to the sound of the waves and smelling the fresh ocean air.
